Introduction
Economic growth in the new global marketplace requires that a business needs to have a niche market where competition is limited. Therefore the NAHBB is expanding its membership to include home based businesses worldwide. The National Association of Home Based Businesses is seeking leaders for its Business Trade Organizations. The NAHBB is the leading home based business organization in the United States. It is quoted and sourced in over 30 magazines, newspapers, radio and TV talk shows. It is also used as a reference source in over 400 books and other publications annually. The NAHBB wants to share its expertise with home based entrepreneurs worldwide. These programs require an investment to participate. The NAHBB is interested in establishing an affiliation with existing small business organizations or creating new partnerships that is capable of providing support and development services to home based businesses in selected countries.
The Business Trade Organization, (BTO) is made-up of business trade groups from special niche markets. They are assigned a Home Business Identity Classification, (HBIC) from the National Association of Home Based Businesses, (NAHBB) clearinghouse division if they meet all the criteria. Acceptable businesses are granted the exclusive rights to a pre-selected business trade organization. Membership organizations are allowed to write newsletters, how to books, and to conduct seminars and workshops for their respected groups. Membership partners receive override commissions for selling and referring NAHBB's products and services. This program recognizes home based entrepreneurs who can lead a Business Trade Group and can also help lead the Home Based Business Industry into the 21st. Century.
Eligible members can help organize local, national, and international business trade groups. Currently there are over 200 classifications for home based businesses, with another 50 to be added by the end of 1996. Each business that enters the NAHBB is assign a Home Business Identity Classification, (HBIC). This code guide number is used by business members in the same trade.
